Sweet, fizzy and very hard to say no to.
Sciandor is a fresh, floral Moscato d’Asti: low in alcohol, lightly sweet and gently sparkling. Good for brunch, dessert, or just because.
Tastes like: Peach, orange blossom and honeysuckle, with a lemon-candy note.
Feels like: Light-bodied, sweet bubbles, with balanced freshness and no oak.
Great with: Fruit tart, fresh berries, brunch pastries.
Singapore and Asian favourites: Spicy Thai food, mango sticky rice, egg tarts.
The geeky bit: Moscato from the hills of Asti in Piedmont, on calcareous soils. The fermentation is stopped early, which keeps the alcohol low and the natural sweetness and fizz in the wine.
Why we like it: Fun, fragrant and versatile. Sweet without being sticky.
Serve: 6 to 8°C. Well chilled.
