The Merlot that made Tua Rita famous.
Redigaffi is Tua Rita’s 100% Merlot, from a vineyard planted in 1994. Full-bodied and structured, with a rich mix of black fruit, chocolate and spice, and a long finish. This is the 3L double magnum, equal to four bottles.
Tastes like: Blackcurrant, blackberry and plum, with chocolate, vanilla, tobacco, liquorice and a hint of mint.
Feels like: Full-bodied and dry, with firm, drying grip, balanced freshness and obvious oak, toast and vanilla.
Great with: Grilled meats, game, aged cheeses.
Singapore and Asian favourites: Wagyu yakiniku, roast goose, braised beef cheek.
The geeky bit: Merlot from the Redigaffi vineyard, on hillsides near Suvereto on the Tuscan coast. The soils are a mix of clay and iron-rich silt. Tua Rita farms with sustainable, low-intervention methods and very low yields.

Why we like it: Luxury, intensity and craftsmanship, in a format that lifts any occasion.
Serve: 16 to 18°C. Room temperature in Singapore is too warm for red wine, so give it 20 minutes in the fridge first. Decant 30 to 60 minutes.
Alcohol: 15.5%
