A six-litre showstopper.
Giusto di Notri is Tua Rita’s Bordeaux-style blend from Suvereto, on the Tuscan coast. Ripe, structured and layered with cassis, spice and minerality. This is the 6-litre bottle, equal to eight standard bottles.
Tastes like: Blackcurrant and espresso, with graphite, leather and liquorice.
Feels like: Full-bodied and dry, with firm, drying grip, balanced freshness and oak in the background.
Great with: Prime rib, aged ribeye, wild boar, grilled mushrooms.
Singapore and Asian favourites: Wagyu yakiniku, roast goose, braised beef brisket.
The geeky bit: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc from Suvereto’s iron-rich hills. Low yields, aged in French oak barrels.
Accolades: 96 pts Wine Advocate · 96 pts James Suckling
Why we like it: Made to impress. Perfect for a wedding or a dinner nobody forgets.
Serve: 16 to 18°C. Room temperature in Singapore is too warm for red wine, so give it 20 minutes in the fridge first. Decant 30 to 60 minutes.
Alcohol: 15%
