Bellamarsilla is Poggioargentiera’s Morellino di Scansano, the Sangiovese of the Maremma coast. Pure red fruit, gentle spice and a Mediterranean freshness. Rustic charm with real finesse. This is the 1.5L magnum.
Tastes like: Red cherry and strawberry, with rosemary, rose petal and soft earth.
Feels like: Medium-bodied and dry, with a bit of grip, bright freshness and no oak.
Great with: Lasagne, roast duck, grilled pork, tomato-based dishes.
Singapore and Asian favourites: Roast duck rice, char siew, beef hor fun.
The geeky bit: Sangiovese from sandy soils in the Maremma, near the sea. Organic farming.

Serve: 16 to 18°C. Room temperature in Singapore is too warm for red wine, so give it 20 minutes in the fridge first.
