Château Pichon Baron’s 2018 vintage is all about precision and plush power. This Second Growth overdelivers on every level, especially in ripe vintages like 2018. It’s packed with inky black fruit, graphite, and crushed violets, but glides across the palate with finesse.

Mostly Cabernet Sauvignon with a dash of Merlot, it’s a wine of great depth and architectural structure. Polished oak, firm tannins, and long finish. If you love modern Bordeaux with serious cellar potential—this is a must.

Tasting Notes:
Black cherry, graphite, chocolate, violet, roasted coffee.

Food Pairing:
Steak tartare, beef bourguignon, lamb chops, or grilled portobello.

Accolades:
97 pts Wine Advocate; 96 pts James Suckling; a Pauillac star.

Vineyard & Terroir:
Gravel soils near the Gironde estuary. Exceptional drainage and sun exposure. Hand harvesting and parcel selection.

Why We Like It:
It’s big, bold, and beautifully made. One of the Left Bank’s finest values in elite Bordeaux.
