Pinot Noir with no airs at all.
Noble Fellows Pinot Noir is an easy-going red with plenty of flavour. Juicy, bright and very drinkable, with ripe red berries, a little savoury spice and a smooth, dry finish. You can even serve it slightly chilled.
Tastes like: Raspberry, cherry and plum, with soft spice and gentle earthy tones.
Feels like: Light-bodied and dry, with soft tannins, balanced freshness and a light touch of oak.
Great with: Roast chicken, pizza, grilled vegetables, baked salmon.
Singapore and Asian favourites: Roast duck rice, teriyaki salmon, soy sauce chicken.
The geeky bit: Pinot Noir from the Southern Valleys of Marlborough, where clay soils and cool nights help build texture and freshness.
Why we like it: Deliciously unpretentious: fruit, finesse and very good with food.
Serve: 14 to 16°C. Room temperature in Singapore is too warm for red wine, so give it 20 minutes in the fridge first.
Alcohol: 13.5%
