2021 Norton “Lote Lunlunta” Malbec – Mendoza, Argentina – Bold Heartbeat in Single-Vineyard Form

Lote Lunlunta is a single-vineyard Malbec with plenty of character. It is all about ripeness and plush texture: fruit-forward but never flabby, with a long, warming finish. For fans of full-bodied reds that do not overcomplicate things.

Tastes like: Ripe plum and blackberry, with dark chocolate and vanilla oak.
Feels like: Full-bodied and dry, with a bit of grip, gentle acidity and oak in the background.
Great with: BBQ ribs, blue cheese burgers, a solo steak night.
Singapore and Asian favourites: Beef rendang, Korean galbi, char siew.

The geeky bit: Malbec from old vines in Lunlunta, a part of Luján de Cuyo, Mendoza, known for clay-rich soils.

Why we like it: Classic Malbec with swagger.
