Southern Italy in rosé form.
Made in Salento, in the heel of Italy, this rosato is summer in a glass. Rose petals, ripe strawberry and citrus, all kept in line by mouth-watering acidity.
Tastes like: Rosewater, wild strawberry, grapefruit and watermelon.
Feels like: Medium-bodied and dry, with bright freshness and no oak.
Great with: Tuna tartare, caprese salad, grilled halloumi, pasta primavera.
Singapore and Asian favourites: Sashimi, Thai basil chicken, prawn noodles.
The geeky bit: Organic Negroamaro vines on clay and limestone soils, where coastal breezes keep the wine fresh.
Why we like it: Lively, floral and vibrant. A pink to sip all day.
Serve: 8 to 10°C. Well chilled.
Alcohol: 13%
