Toro’s brighter side.
Satelite is a different take on Toro: lighter, fresher and more aromatic. Red cherry, raspberry and floral notes, a silky texture and refreshing acidity. Bigardo’s more approachable sibling.
Tastes like: Red cherry and raspberry, with floral hints.
Feels like: Medium-bodied and dry, with soft tannins, bright freshness and a light touch of oak.
Great with: Tapas platters, grilled vegetables, charcuterie.
Singapore and Asian favourites: Yakitori, char siew, roast duck.
The geeky bit: Tinta de Toro from old vines on Toro’s sandy soils, made with natural winemaking practices.
Why we like it: Bigardo with finesse: bright, lifted and very drinkable.
Serve: 16 to 18°C. Room temperature in Singapore is too warm for red wine, so give it 20 minutes in the fridge first.
Alcohol: 15%
