Juicy Spanish red, zero fuss.
Garnacha is one of Spain’s best-loved red grapes, and this is it at its most cheerful: bright berry fruit, smooth tannins and a fresh finish. Fine for casual sipping, just as good with food.
Tastes like: Strawberry, raspberry and cherry, with a little pepper and soft spice.
Feels like: Medium-bodied and dry, with soft tannins, balanced freshness and no oak.
Great with: Grilled chicken skewers, patatas bravas, pizza with roasted vegetables.
Singapore and Asian favourites: Chicken satay, char siew, yakitori.
The geeky bit: Garnacha from Aragon, in north-east Spain, grown on sandy and limestone soils. Made by Bodegas Tempore.
Why we like it: Garnacha done right: bright, juicy and seriously easy to enjoy.
Serve: 16 to 18°C. Room temperature in Singapore is too warm for red wine, so give it 20 minutes in the fridge first.
Alcohol: 13.5%
