Sardinia in its rawest, finest form.
Tuderi is one of Tenute Dettori’s top wines, made from Cannonau vines more than 100 years old. No additives, no filtration: just wild Sardinian expression. Rich and expansive, full of dried fig, spice and earthy complexity.
Tastes like: Dried cherry and fig, with bay leaf, leather and pepper.
Feels like: Full-bodied and dry, with a bit of grip, balanced freshness and no oak.
Great with: Braised lamb, grilled game, eggplant stew, firm cheeses.
Singapore and Asian favourites: Beef rendang, braised pork belly, cumin lamb skewers.
The geeky bit: Cannonau from ungrafted old vines on sandy soils over granite. Organic and biodynamic, with no sulphur added and no filtration.
Why we like it: A natural wine with massive structure and purity. One of a kind.
Serve: 16 to 18°C. Room temperature in Singapore is too warm for red wine, so give it 20 minutes in the fridge first.
Alcohol: 17%
