Sardinia’s voice in a bottle.
Renosu Bianco from Tenute Dettori is made naturally, with no fining or filtration. It is slightly hazy, with vibrant acidity and a citrusy, mineral depth. A white with energy and personality.
Tastes like: Lemon peel, green olive and salt, with herbs and orchard blossom.
Feels like: Medium-bodied and bone dry, with bright freshness and no oak.
Great with: Octopus salad, bottarga, grilled vegetables, sheep’s cheese.
Singapore and Asian favourites: Grilled sambal stingray, oyster omelette, salt and pepper squid.
The geeky bit: Vermentino from dry-farmed, biodynamic vineyards on granite soils near Sennori. Wild-yeast ferment, unfiltered, no sulphur added.
Why we like it: Authentic and raw.
Serve: 10 to 12°C. Straight from the fridge is a touch too cold; give it a few minutes in the glass.
Alcohol: 12%
