Vintage: 2011
Producer: Fraser Gallop
Tasting Notes: Lovely pale straw color with a vibrant green hue. Gooseberry, grapefruit, fresh asparagus, snow peas, and a nettle herbal inflection. Bright and cool to taste with a strong sense of freshness that tastes of grapefruit, passionfruit, and green spectrum stone fruits like a white nectarine. This wine has the hallmarks of flavor; length, elegance, and a chalky mouth feel in the textural mix. Crisp refreshing acidity and a long dry finish. This is a crisp and fresh wine with lingering fruity flavors and a wine that will drink well in its youth but can be cellared with lime toast flavors developing after 5-7 years. A good match with seafood and fresh summer salads.
